Dan graduated from Villanova University in 2009 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, A NROTC grad, he was commissioned as part of Villanova NROTC Unit and sent to the USS MUSTIN, DDG 89, in Yokosuka, JP. After two years in Japan, he returned to the states to Naval Nuclear Power School in Charleston, SC followed by nuclear prototype training (MTS 635) in Charleston, SC. His first nuclear assignment was in USS CARL VINSON, CVN 70, in Coronado, CA where he qualified as Propulsion Plant Watch Officer and led both Reactor Controls and Reactor Electrical Division. Upon completion of his nuclear division officer tour, Dan reported to the University of Notre Dame NROTC in August of 2014. While working at the University of Notre Dame’s NROTC program, Dan completed a full time MBA program graduating in May 2016 and separated in August 2016. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts and works full time at a local startup.
