Sarah graduated with distinction from the United States Naval Academy in 2011 with a B.S. in International Relations and commissioned into the United States Marine Corps. She was a 2010 Harry S. Truman Scholar and completed a Master of Philosophy in International Relations at the University of Cambridge in 2012 as a Fulbright Scholar. Sarah is a Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence Officer and is currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan. She has served as a CI/HUMINT platoon commander and all-source intelligence platoon commander at 3d Intelligence Battalion and as the Production and Analysis Officer-in-Charge for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. She also fulfills duties as a Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival and as the Command Equal Opportunity Representative. Sarah will transition to the Marine Corps Reserves in May and begin law school in the fall of 2016.
