Michael was a Ground Intelligence Officer in the Marine Corps following his graduation from Georgetown University in 2009. He served as an Afghan National Security Forces Advisor and as a Scout Sniper Platoon Commander with 3d Battalion, Fifth Marines. Michael is currently a JD/MBA candidate at Columbia University.
Matt graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2008 with a B.S. in Ocean Engineering and commissioned into the United States Marine Corps. His initial assignment was as the intelligence officer for a task force conducting humanitarian aid operations in Haiti and military to military engagements in Africa. Matt also served with US Army Special Forces teams in Uruzgan, Afghanistan before becoming an executive officer for a company with 2d Intelligence Battalion at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Matt also deployed with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit in 2012, serving as the Intelligence Battalion Detachment Officer In Charge. At the United States Pacific Command, Matt was a Counterterrorism Branch Chief and an Intelligence Planner for the Joint Intelligence Operations Center. Matt will be pursuing his JD/MBA at Stanford upon completion of his service.
