Abby graduated from Luther College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. While studying at Luther she spent a semester studying abroad in New Zealand. She was stroke seat for the University of Otago’s novice crew team, captain of Luther College Women’s rugby club for a semester, and was a resident assistant for year. After graduating she went to Pennsylvania State University to study Educational Theory and Policy. She left after a semester due to finances and the upcoming birth of her first child.
In the last five years Abby has raised two children, moved four times, owned an olympic weightlifting training facility, and, most recently, has been accepted to law school. She is set to start law school in the Fall of 2020.
When not feeding ravenous children or submitting scholarship applications Abby enjoys spending her time coaching olympic weightlifting as a USA Weightlifting Level 2 coach, reading anything, building sand castles at the beach, walking trails, visiting family back in the Midwest, and enjoying time with friends.
