Adam Simon was born and raised in Charleston, SC where he grew up surfing, fishing, and playing baseball. Following high school, he attended the University of South Carolina where he majored in Accounting, graduating in May 2008. Adam gained admittance to the University of South Carolina’s Law School. Adam decided to forgo law school and attend OCS commissioning as an infantry second lieutenant in November 2010. Adam graduated from infantry officer basic course and ranger school on his way to the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. In the 82nd, Adam served as a platoon leader, company executive officer, and battalion assistant operations officer, twice deploying, once to Afghanistan and once to Iraq. Adam then attended the maneuver captain’s career course and was then stationed at Fort Campbell, KY in the 101st Airborne Division. At the 101st, Adam led the personal security team for the commander of US Forces in Southern Afghanistan. Following that assignment, Adam took command of an infantry company in the 2-506th Infantry Regiment (White Currahee). Following his command, Adam will attend Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business’s Daytime MBA program, graduating in May 2021.
