Adrian Cavazos is originally from Fresno, California, and earned his undergraduate degree in International Relations from American Military University in 2016. He served in the U.S. Air Force on active duty from 2008-2016 and as a reservist from 2016-2017. While on active duty, Adrian worked as a Security Forces Member and an Intelligence Analyst with overseas tours in Portugal, Japan, the Philippines, Iraq, and Greenland.
Adrian attended law school at Georgetown University Law Center (GULC) and graduated with his Juris Doctor in May 2019. While in law school, Adrian worked at: The Walt Disney Company’s Global Public Policy Division; the Department of Defense, Office of the General Counsel; and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Maryland. Adrian also received a National Security LL.M. from GULC in 2020 and worked as a Law Fellow with the Office of Senator Tammy Duckworth during this period.
Currently, Adrian is an active duty Air Force Officer and works as Chief of Operations Law for the 502 Security Forces Group, Joint Base San Antonio – Randolph, Texas. He is also a member of the Georgetown Law Alumni Admissions Interview Program and an active member of the bar for state Maryland and Texas.
