Adrian Cavazos is originally from Fresno, California, and earned his undergraduate degree in International Relations from American Military University in 2016. He served in the U.S. Air Force on active duty from 2008-2016, and as a reservist from 2016-2017. While on active duty, Adrian worked as a Security Forces Member and as an Intelligence Analyst with overseas tours in Portugal, Japan, Philippines, Iraq, and Greenland. He attended law school at Georgetown University Law Center (GULC) and graduated with his Juris Doctor in May 2019. While in law school, Adrian worked at: The Walt Disney Company’s Global Public Policy Division; the Department of Defense, Office of the General Counsel; and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Maryland. Adrian is currently a National Security Law LL.M. Candidate at GULC and a Law Fellow with the Office of U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth. Adrian will complete his degree in December 2019, and in January 2020 he will enter back into active duty service as a U.S. Air Force JAG Corps Officer.
