Alec Schwartz graduated from the US Air Force Academy with a degree in Mathematics in 2010. He then served for nine years as an Air Force Special Tactics Officer, leading some of the military’s most highly trained special operations forces on four deployments including Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. Along the way he earned a master’s in Homeland Security and Counterterrorism from American Military University. Alec left the military to matriculate into Columbia Law School’s JD program, which he will graduate in 2022 with hopes of entering private practice and, ultimately, becoming a federal prosecutor. He lives in New York City with his wife and young daughter, and enjoys helping veterans achieve their academic and professional goals.
