Alex graduated from Stanford Law School in 2020. He is currently an associate attorney at the law firm Cooley LLP in San Francisco, California. Before joining Cooley, he served in the General Counsel’s Office of the the Biden-Harris Transition Team. Before law school, he served as a Marine combat engineer platoon commander in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, and then as a reserve tank platoon commander, executive officer, and company commander in the States. While a reservist, he also worked for an AAPI-advocacy non-profit, and in junior staff roles in the White House. Alex earned his B.A. from the College of William and Mary in 2010 and currently lives in San Francisco with his wife and two dogs.
