Allen Chang

Allen graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in neuroscience and a minor in education studies. After accepting a Health Professions Scholarship Program commission, he completed medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Upon graduation, he completed Naval Flight Surgeon training and became a greenside squadron flight surgeon/medical officer with VMGR-152 “Sumos” in Okinawa, Japan, as well as VMM-363 “Red Lions” in Miramar, California. He then deployed to Kuwait/Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve 15.1.

Upon departing the armed services, Allen completed his residency in emergency medicine at Stanford University Hospital with a focus on EMS/tactical EMS. He is currently an EMS and Disaster Medicine fellow physician at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California and also serves as a SWAT physician for the San Mateo County TEMS unit.
