Ayman Andrews

Ayman grew up in Vernon, New Jersey and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. After commissioning as an Army Engineer Officer, he was selected for training to serve as a Diving Officer. He completed the Joint Diving Officer Course in 2014 at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center in Panama City Beach, Florida. In his first assignment, he served as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer for the 86th Engineer Dive Detachment, and deployed to various regions to include Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, and Korea. Following this first assignment, he attended the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2018, receiving a Master of Science in Engineering Management. In his second tour, Ayman served as an Operations Officer for the 84th Engineer Battalion and a Detachment Commander for the 7th Engineer Dive Detachment, based out of Joint Base Pearl-Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. Ayman is currently serving as a Team Leader at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, where he is responsible for conducting recovery missions to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing service members from past conflicts to their families and the nation.
