Ben Salvito

Benjamin Salvito was raised in Hillsborough, New Jersey. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2010, majoring in international comparative legal studies and branching aviation. He moved to Fort Rucker, Alabama and attended flight school, selecting the UH-60 Blackhawk as his airframe. He was assigned to Fort Lewis, WA and served as a platoon leader, logistics officer, and assistant operations officer in an assault helicopter battalion. He deployed to Shindand, Afghanistan for seven months, where he attained pilot-in-command. Shortly after his return, he returned to Fort Rucker to attend the aviation captain’s career course. Following the career course, he was assigned to Hunter Army Airfield, GA and served as a maintenance company commander for 23 months. He has matriculated at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and is expected to graduate in May 2020. He is a proud member of the Yelp Elite Squad and is married to his wife of five years, Amanda.
