Chris Fox

Chris enlisted in the Air Force in 2007 and completed his undergraduate studies while serving on Active Duty. His first assignment was to the 7th Air Support Operations Squadron, where he deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan as a TACP (Tactical Air Control Party) member with 1st Armored Division. After completing the Special Operations Selection Course, he was assigned to the 21st Special Tactics Squadron, where he deployed to Afghanistan with 1st SFG. In 2013, he became a JTAC Instructor (JTAC-I), preparing his Special Tactics Team for combat before his fourth deployment with 3rd SFG. Chris separated from Active Duty as a Staff Sergeant in 2014 and earned an MPA at USC (Los Angeles) with a Research Fellowship at the CREATE Homeland Security Center. Chris also holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy, a BA in Psychology, and an AAS in Information Systems Technology. He is currently the Legal Services Director for Veterans Education Success, a Policy Intern at Free the Slaves, and a JD Candidate at Georgetown University Law Center. He enjoys hiking and camping in Virginia with his pit bull, Eggy.
