Chris graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2008 with a B.S. in Chemistry. Following graduation from the Stanford University School of Medicine in 2012, he returned to active duty and completed training in orthopedic surgery at Naval Medical Center San Diego. He completed fellowship training in orthopedic traumatology at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and has deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. He is currently the Director of Orthopedic Trauma at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. His specific clinical interests include post-traumatic reconstruction and malunion treatment.
