Christopher Bellaire is a medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Christopher graduated from Princeton University before serving as a Marine Corps officer for four years. He was stationed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, with deployments to the southern Philippines and Okinawa, Japan. During a post-baccalaureate year at Columbia University, Christopher started the MedVets organization for military veterans in medicine. At Mount Sinai, Christopher developed and led an elective course on veterans’ health, and he is the president of the student veterans organization. At the intersection of his experiences in the military and in medicine, Christopher is committed to veterans’ health issues and supporting veterans in medicine. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Christopher has been a Service to School ambassador since 2015.
