Dan graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in 2009 with a degree in Government. He then spent four years afloat conducting maritime law enforcement in the waters off New England and Alaska. During his subsequent staff tour, he led initial acquisition efforts for the Coast Guard’s next Heavy Polar Icebreaker. Prior to entering law school, Dan spent two years at sea conducting counter-narcotics and search and rescue missions throughout the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific. He holds a Masters in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and is currently attending Georgetown Law as a Coast Guard funded student.
