Dana was born in Lakewood, OH. He attended West Point and graduated in 2010 with a degree in chemical engineering. Following graduation, he attended flight school and was qualified as a Blackhawk pilot. Dana was stationed in Honduras, Ft. Lewis, and Ft. Campbell. During his seven years in the Army Dana served as a flight platoon leader, maintenance platoon leader, S4 and Assistant S3. Dana resigned his commission in the summer of 2017 to attend Kellogg School of Management. He and his wife, Mallory, live in Evanston where she works as a CPA and he plans to graduate with his MBA in June of 2019.
