Daniel Leonard

Dan was a 4-year ROTC cadet at and graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Economics in 2008 and immediately commissioned as an Infantry officer. After completing his initial training, Airborne School, and Ranger School he joined 1-4 Infantry in Hohenfels, Germany. Dan spent 4 years in Hohenfels as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Battalion Communications Officer (S6). He also deployed to Zabul Province as the Provincial Reconstruction Team Operations Officer (S3). Upon return to the states Dan completed Signal Captain’s Career Course and later joined 112th Signal Special Operations Battalion at Fort Bragg. He was a Battalion Assistant S3 and Joint S6 in Central Africa.
Dan left the military in 2015 and immediately began his MBA at the Tepper School of Business (Carnegie Mellon University). Upon completion, he joined Deutsche Bank’s Investment Bank in the Financial Institutions Group. After 3 years he left to join the corporate and investment bank at Regions Bank in the Transportation & Logistics Group as a Vice President.
