David Anderson

A thirteen year infantry veteran of the United States Marine Corps, David’s service included deployments to Guantanamo Bay Naval Station’s Rifle Security Company, to Iraq for combat operations in 2004/2005, and as the senior Infantry adviser on a NATO training team to the Afghan National Civil Order Police. He was accepted to Columbia University after returning from Afghanistan and completed his BA in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, in 2015. David continues to maintain a strong interest in foreign affairs and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Foreign Service, concentrating on Global Politics and Security, at Georgetown University. He has been a Presidential Fellow with the Center for Study of the Presidency and Congress and will be interning at the State Department in 2016.
