Dillon is a Federal Government employee who previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney (Criminal Division). He has deployed three times as a Marine Corps officer. He holds an LL.M. (Litigation and Dispute Resolution) from The George Washington University Law School, where he also taught Trial Advocacy to J.D. students as an adjunct faculty member; a J.D. from the University of Arizona, where he was the school's annual Udall Prosecution Fellow; and a B.S. from Arizona State University's Barrett Honors College.
