Elliot graduated from the University of Illinois in 2008. A native Chicagoan, he commissioned as a SWO through Navy OCS and was off to Sasebo, Japan shortly thereafter. In 2012, Elliot transferred to San Diego, where he was homeported 15 months, including an 8-month Middle East deployment. Elliot’s final duty station was the Pentagon, where he worked as the aide-de-camp to a Marine Corps General on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations from 2014-2015. Elliot separated from the Navy in July, 2015, took a SPACE-A flight to Europe for a month, and upon his return he began his studies at George Mason University School of Law. Fun fact: Elliot traveled to 30 countries before the age of 30.
