Erik Hamilton works for Medtronic, the worlds largest implantable medical device company, in a strategic sales and marketing role. He is a former Marine Scout Sniper and DoS security consultant, and transitioned from a military/government career path towards business back in 2012. Erik received his MBA from Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in Marketing and Healthcare, and in parallel earned a Graduate Certificate in Health Finance & Management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. in 2015 Erik joined Medtronic through their Leadership Development Rotational Program (LDRP), and in the summer of 2018 accepted a full-time position with Medtronic’s Restorative Therapies Group. He is responsible for the development and implementation of a Key Account Management program, wherein he is leading the RTG business as a change agent for the adoption of a more disciplined strategic sales methodology. Erik’s professional interests include business and corporate strategy, behavioral economics, and white-space innovation. Personal interests include hiking, open-water swimming, Crossfit, and watching professional sports.
