Evan Malanga

Evan graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2010 where he received a BA in Political Science. He was a 4-year Army ROTC scholar, commissioned as a 2LT, and branched Infantry. Evan was first stationed at Fort Richardson, AK, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 509th Infantry (Airborne), and deployed for one year to Paktya, Afghanistan as a Rifle Platoon Leader. After completion of RASP II, Evan was assigned to 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, where he served as a Ranger Rifle Platoon Leader and conducted three more deployments in support of the GWOT. Evan will leave the Army a Captain after four deployments and more than 5 years of Active Duty service to pursue his MBA at Columbia Business School (Class of 2017).
