Hillary Browning

After graduating high school, Hillary enlisted in the military. She served six years in the Navy as a journalist. She worked at an American Forces Network TV and radio station in Sasebo, Japan, deployed as an Individual Augmentee to Afghanistan, and was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. In 2016, she left active duty and applied to the Eli Whitney Students Program. Hillary is currently a Sociology major at Yale. Her long term goals are to learn Arabic and work for the State Department as a counterterrorism analyst.
