Jackson Kemper left college before his junior year at CSU Long Beach in 2015 to enlist in the Navy and would spend the next four years on active duty as a hospital corpsman. He spent the majority of his military career serving as the senior ICU corpsman at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton from 2017-2020, where he took care of the most critically ill patients in the hospital, developed a comprehensive education and training plan to ensure all junior enlisted were capable of consistently giving the highest level of care, and managed the budget for all of inpatient services. In early 2020, Jackson made the transition from the military to finish his undergraduate degree at Columbia University. He anticipates graduating as part of the class of 2023. Jackson is unmarried and has a Vizsla/greyhound mix. A native of Huntington Beach, CA, outside of school he is passionate about fitness, surfing, motorcycle racing, and golfing.
