CPT Jacob Ahle grew up Marlton, NJ before attending school at the Pennsylvania State University where he majored in Economics. In the spring of 2013, CPT Ahle commissioned as a second lieutenant and reported to Fort Benning, GA where he graduated from the Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course (IBOLC) and Ranger School. Upon graduation from Ranger School, CPT Ahle reported to Vicenza, Italy where he served as a Platoon Leader, Mortar Platoon Leader, and Plans Officer in 1-503/173d IBCT (ABN). During his time in the 173d, CPT Ahle deployed to more than 14 countries in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Upon being promoted to Captain, CPT Ahle returned to Fort Benning, GA where he completed the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course before reporting to his most current assignment with the Asymmetric Warfare Group (AWG) located at Fort Meade, MD. CPT Ahle has deployed once to the Middle East in support of operations with AWG. Most recently, CPT Ahle was accepted to Harvard Business School (HBS) and will transition out of the Army and complete his Master of Business Administration with the HBS Class of 2021.
