Jake Sortor

Jake graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2015, where he majored in Economics. During his time at the Air Force Academy, Jake played Division I Baseball, was a member of the U.S. Air Force Parachute Team Wings of Blue, and served as the Cadet Wing Commander. After graduation, Jake served as an intelligence officer working special operations out of Hurlburt Field, Florida. During his time as an intelligence officer, Jake deployed to Iraq as a Detachment Director of Operations in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. After earning an MS in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, Jake received orders to return to the Air Force Academy where he currently is an Instructor of Economics. Jake will be transitioning into the USAF Reserves in the Summer of 2021 and will begin a JD/MBA at Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School in the Fall of 2021.
