Jenn Barkenhagen

Jenn commissioned as an Intelligence Officer in the Air Force in 2010 after completing ROTC at the University of Florida. Her first assignment was with Air Force Global Strike Command as the Command Intelligence Briefer, where she briefed the MAJCOM's leadership team on current intel and threats. She then moved to a unit support and training role supporting B-52 operations and the formal training unit for new B-52 aircrew. Next, she deployed to Al Udeid Air Base from Dec 2013 – July 2014, serving as the Officer in Charge of the Combat Intelligence Cell, responsible for daily briefs to the Wing Commander and base operations support. She then moved to Shaw AFB as the Chief of Targets for AFCENT and the Targets Flight Commander for the 51st Intelligence Squadron, serving a dual-role in supporting both current targeting operations in the Middle East as well as future planning for CENTCOM. She left Active Duty in 2016 to pursue her MBA at the University of Florida, while continuing to serve in the Air Force Reserve. She is currently supporting the 920th Rescue Wing out of Patrick AFB in Florida, and a participant in the Leadership Development Program in Strategic Operations at Wyndham Destinations in Orlando, FL.
