Jimm Spannagel

Jimm is a native of NY and attended the United States Military Academy. He graduated in 2004 with a degree in Sociology and English and was commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer, branch detailed to the Armor branch. Jimm served for three years with the 1st Infantry Division in Germany as a Tank Platoon Leader, Assistant Operations Officer, and Scout Platoon Leader, earning a Bronze Star for Meritorious Service for a tour of duty in Ramadi, Iraq. Upon graduation from the Defense Language Institute as an Arabic linguist, Jimm deployed to Iraq in 2010 serving as a special advisor to the Deputy Commanding General for US Forces Iraq where he earned a second Bronze Star for Meritorious Service. He concluded his military career with the 3rd Infantry Division, where he served as a Squadon and Brigade S-2 and Company Commander. After leaving the military in 2013, Jimm was admitted to the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University Class of 2015. He now works at a top global management consulting firm.
