Joe Tomczak is an active-duty special operations pilot in the U.S. Air Force. He is a 2009 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he majored in political science and studied as an exchange cadet at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. His experience includes assignments in jet trainer, tactical reconnaissance, and close air support aircraft while serving in both conventional and special operations units. Currently a staff officer at Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command, Joe is pursuing a Master of International Policy & Practice at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. He has passion for helping veterans make an impact through higher education.
