John is currently pursuing his J.D. at the Georgetown University Law Center and will graduate in May 2018. During law school, he have served as a summer law clerk for a United States District Court Judge in the District of Columbia as well as law clerk for the Committee on Financial Services in the United States House of Representatives. As a student attorney, John represents indigent clients before the D.C. Superior Court, handling all aspects of civil division litigation. He served over 10 years in the Army and left active duty as a Major, declining his selection for resident ILE, to attend law school. While on active duty, John served as a Battery Commander, Instructor at West Point within the Department of Military Instruction, an Aide-de-camp, and as the Operations Director for the Air Warfare Center in the United Arab Emirates. He remains in the Reserves as a Military Academy Liaison Officer for the West Point Admissions Office.
