John Oh

John graduated from the US Naval Academy with a B.S. in International Relations and Minor in Japanese, and commissioned in the US Marine Corps in 2012. Designated as a Ground Intelligence Officer at TBS, John graduated from the Infantry Officer’s Course, the Ground Intelligence Officer’s Course and the Scout Sniper Unit Leader’s Course in 2013. Upon completion, he checked into 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines in Twentynine Palms, CA as a Rifle Platoon Commander for Lima Company. He deployed in support of Special Purpose MAGTF – Crisis Response – CENTCOM (SPMAGTF-CR-CC 15.2) as an Assistant Intelligence Officer and Company Executive Officer in 2015. In June 2016, he transferred to Marine Corps Forces, Korea (MARFORK) where he served as an Aide-de-Camp and Deputy Intelligence Officer. He is currently serving as the Liaison Officer to the Republic of Korea Marine Corps and will be transitioning out of the Marine Corps in June 2020 to pursue an MBA at the Wharton School in Philadelphia this fall.
