Josh is originally from Plymouth, Wisconsin. He received his bachelor’s degree from Boston University in Hospitality Administration in 2011. After graduation, Josh commissioned as an aviation officer. He spent his first two years at Ft. Rucker, Alabama, earning a rating as an AH64D Apache Longbow Attack Helicopter pilot. His first assignment was with the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade in Germany. There, he held positions as a platoon leader, company executive officer, and logistics officer. He completed one combat tour to Afghanistan flying missions in support of both conventional and special operation forces. As a Captain, Josh served as a Troop Commander in the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade. His Troop completed training rotations to Australia, Indonesia, and the Republic of Korea. In his free time, Josh loves to hike, play golf, surf or snowboard, and read.
