Josh Summer graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2010, where he majored in German. Josh commissioned as an Aviation Officer and attended flight school, becoming qualified to fly the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopter. He was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), where he served as a platoon leader and operations officer and deployed to Afghanistan in 2014. After attending the Captains Career Course in Ft. Rucker, Josh was assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea, where he served as an operations officer and commanded the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade. In 2016, he returned stateside and took command of the Suffolk Recruiting Company in Long Island, NY. Josh recently left the Army and is currently attending the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, as a member of the Class of 2020.
