Kenneth is a first-generation college student and a former high school dropout. He joined the Army in April of 2002. He served as an Army combat medic from 2002-2009 and completed three tours of duty in Iraq during that time. After leaving the military he became a Harry S. Truman Scholar in 2013, and graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Constitutional Studies from the University of Oklahoma. He is currently a third-year law student at Boston University School of Law where he is a Public Interest Scholar and was selected as a 2016 Rappaport Fellow. Kenneth plans to use his law degree to become an advocate for Veterans, particularly in the area of Veteran’s benefits.
