Lance is from Dallas, Texas and attended Texas A&amp;M University after graduation from high school. After three very difficult semesters he decided he needed a change and enlisted in the Army. He then was awarded his Explosive Ordnance Disposal Badge and served in an EOD unit for 4 years deploying once in 2014 to Afghanistan for nine months where he was awarded a Combat Action Badge. After completing his term of service, he was admitted to Columbia University’s School of General Studies where he is now seeking an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Economics.Lance can advise veterans who are seeking to make a second attempt at an undergraduate education and especially give help to those with a poor academic record from before the military. He can also answer questions on the finer details of their educational benefits and how to make sure applicants understand the process before going to a school.
