Matthew Feehan is a former infantry officer with the Massachusetts Army National Guard. He served as a boatswain’s mate with the United States Coast Guard Reserve, Port Security Unit 301, before he earned his commission from Boston University’s Reserve Officer Training corps. He later deployed to the Northern Sinai to support the Multinational Force and Observers mission as a force protection platoon leader. He also served as a summer law intern for the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review, at the Port Isabel Detention Center and Miami Immigration Court.
As a graduate of Western New England University School of Law and a former member of the coveted Attorney General’s Honors Program, Matt focuses his personal research and writing on service members’ rights within academia. He is currently preparing for the uniform bar examination.
Matt is an avid sailor and taught sailing for many years at no cost to military veterans. He enjoys volunteering and continually seeks opportunities to volunteer.
