Dr. Johnson is a Marine Corps Veteran with deployments to Afghanistan. Since his time in the Marine Corps, he has gone on to complete degrees in Health Sciences and Biological Psychology at Thomas Jefferson University, and Medicine at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Johnson has published research in medical journals on the topics of PTSD, cannabis use, and cardiac tamponade and cancer metastasis. He has also presented on these topics as well as additional research on Parkinson Disease as an outcome of surgery. Currently, he is working on research for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, Long QT Syndrome, and psychiatric illness related to COVID-19. In addition, he is also currently working toward completion of his MBA in healthcare management at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Johnson is currently a Resident Psychiatrist in New Jersey.
