Michael received a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University in 2001 and his J.D. from New York University in 2006. Before law school, Michael taught the LSAT for a test-prep company. After graduation, he spent two years as an associate at a midsized NYC firm. In 2010, he received a commission as an Air Force judge advocate. He served as the Chief of Military Justice and Chief of Civil Law at both Edwards AFB and Misawa AB and was the legal advisor to a Joint Special Operations Task Force. He left active duty in 2014. He is currently a freelance writer.
