Nick Trimis enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2008 as an intelligence specialist. He subsequently received a Naval ROTC Scholarship to attend The George Washington University where he earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice. Upon receiving his commission he attended The Basic School where he was given the MOS of Comptroller/Financial Management Officer. Nick was stationed in San Diego with the 1st Marine Logistics Group and subsequently deployed with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit in 2014 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Following his deployment, Nick PCS’d to MCRD Parris Island where he served as a Series Commander with Company M and as the Officer in Charge of the Combat Training Tank and Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival (MCIWS) Course. Nick, his wife, Stephanie, and their daughter, Eleanor, live in Chicago where he is a JD/MBA candidate at Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law and Kellogg School of Management.
