Currently serving as Director of College Counseling at Concord Academy in Massachusetts, Peter’s professional career has always centered on the transition to college.
After five-years in admissions at Pomona College and three years as Dean of Juniors and Seniors at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles, Peter has spent the last two decades shepherding students and families through the college process at Concord Academy. Additionally, Peter has been active with coaching cross country and track, serving as a residential house parent, teaching English, and advising the Model United Nations team. During a 2009-2010 sabbatical, Peter joined the Tufts University staff as Admissions Officer and Counselor-in-Residence.
Peter service has included the boards of ACCIS (Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools) and of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, as well as the Common Application Outreach Advisory Group. He currently volunteers with Matriculate, a non-profit that helps low-income students access a college education.
Peter has an undergraduate degree in English from Connecticut College and a masters in Higher Education from Boston University.
