Ryan Cotter

Ryan served in the U.S. Navy, including five years of active duty aboard the fast attack submarine USS Hampton and two years in the U.S. Navy Reserve as part of an undersea warfare intelligence unit. He worked as a lab assistant in The Etkin Lab at Stanford University, where he used transcranial magnetic imaging to identify physical indicators of PTSD in veterans. He has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Amherst College. He is the Freshman Class Dean, Director of the Freshman Program and Co-Chair of The Gunnery LEADS Program.
