Samuel Long

Sam graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2011. As a midshipman, he majored in Political Science and Law and was a baseball player throughout his four years. Following graduation, Sam commissioned in the USMC and became an Infantry Officer and Platoon Commander in Second Battalion, Sixth Marines, and Third Battalion Second Marines. In both units, Sam deployed in support of Humanitarian Assistance and Security Operations in PACOM. Following this tour, Sam accepted orders to Marine Corps Recruiters School for his B-Billet where he currently serves as the Deputy Director. He has a Masters of Science in Accounting and has been accepted to the University of Virginia Law class of 2022.
