Sarah Grant

Sarah is a member of the Harvard Law School Class of 2019 and a Captain in the Marine Corps Reserves, assigned to the Joint Staff J2. She previously spent five years on active duty as an Intelligence Officer. She graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2011 with a B.S. in International Relations and was the 2010 Harry S. Truman Scholar from Washington, DC. She earned an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge in 2012 as a Fulbright Scholar. She interned in Vice President Biden's National Security Affairs Office before starting law school, and in the National Security Division of the Department of Justice after her 1L year. She will be spending her 2L summer at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, DC, and will be clerking for Chief Judge Diane Wood on the Seventh Circuit after graduation.
