Stephiney Xie grew up in New York City and attended the US Military Academy, where she received a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and commissioned in 2009 as Transportation officer. While on active duty, Stephiney has held leadership positions at multiple echelons leading teams of 50 to 350 Soldiers as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, SPO and Company Commander. While deployed in Afghanistan, Stephiney leveraged her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification to solve complex logistical issues, thus earning the Department of the Army Regimental Transportation Officer of the Year for 2013. Post active duty, she will continue to serve as a Brigade S4 in the Army Reserves while pursuing her MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College as a member of the class of 2018.
