Tom Schaefer graduated from MIT in 2009 with a major in Materials Science and Engineering. He commissioned into the Navy via NROTC, and served aboard USS New Mexico (SSN 779) for three years in a variety of engineering and tactical roles, including CRA, AENG and AWEPS. Tom later served at the Pentagon on the CNO’s staff, focusing on Allied and Coalition Communications/IW Interoperability. He currently attends Kellogg School of Management and is expecting to graduate in June, 2018 with dual majors in Strategy and Finance. Tom will be working for Amphenol Corporation following graduation in a strategy and general management role. He lives with his wife, Kit, in Evanston, IL and will be moving to Denver, CO this summer.
