Tony Wan will be graduating with his M.D. Degree from Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook and will be starting his accelerated one-year tech-focused MBA program at Johnson Cornell Tech. He was enlisted in the Marine Corps from 2005 to 2009 and served as an infantryman with multiple combat deployments. After being honorably discharged, he went to CUNY York College to pursue a B.S. in Chemistry. He graduated in three years and was awarded the honor of valedictorian. While in medical school, he was part of the admissions committee as a student interviewer.
When he completes his MBA program, he will be pursuing an Emergency Medicine residency. Throughout his educational journey, he has utilized both Post 9/11 Gi Bill (Chap 33) and Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Chap 31 to fully fund the costs of tuition. He is available to mentor veterans who need help navigating VA health/educational benefits, especially those who are seeking an MD or MBA.
