Trevor Harris

Trevor graduated with Honors from Westminster College, Salt Lake City UT with a B.S. in Nursing in 2012. He then earned a M.S. in Nursing with a focus on Clinical Nurse Leadership.

Trevor enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces apprentice and served on active duty for four years, being station in Alaska, Guam, Washington State, and one tour in the Middle East (U.A.E). He then served another ten years in the Utah and Washington Air National Guard as a Security Forces Non-Commissioned officer before taking a commission as a Nurse Corps Officer, serving in the 141st Medical Group, WA.

Trevor has worked for the Salt Lake Veterans Affairs Medical Center for nine years as a staff Telemetry nurse, a Nurse Manager, an ICU nurse, and as a Nurse-Physician Liaison where he focuses on care coordination, training and coordinating services between primary care, internal medicine, and specialty care services with a focus on improving processes, systems, and outcomes. Trevor has been a preceptor for SLC VA in their Post-Baccalaureate Nurse Residency and believes in the importance of education, the opportunity it provides, and the necessity of continuing to pursue higher learning.
