Will Golinkin was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After graduating from the Kinkaid School in 2009, he attended Dickinson College where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and Captain of the varsity men’s tennis team. Upon graduating Cum Laude in May 2013 with BAs in both Spanish and International Business, Will joined the J.P. Morgan Private Bank as a financial analyst. Though he enjoyed learning about the markets, Will felt the need to serve and joined the Marine Corps in August 2014. He commissioned as an Second Lieutenant in November of the same year before receiving his specialty as a Communications Officer. He spent three years as the Communications Platoon Commander at 1st Battalion, 5th Marines and deployed with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit through Southeast Asia, the Horn of Africa, and the Middle East. Will was honorably discharged as a Captain Select in November 2018 and has been accepted to the full-time MBA program at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business as a member of the Class of 2021. In the meantime, Will is working as the Chief Operating Officer for FASTER, where he handles all outreach, marketing, production, and distribution of a podcast founded by fellow Marine Nick Taranto which advocates the benefits of fasting on health and wellness. Will is a passionate runner, yogi, gym rat, and reader of all things related to foreign affairs.
