Peter graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Economics and Chinese.
He served as an Infantry Platoon Leader in Germany, deploying to Afghanistan during that time. He then served as a Special Forces Detachment Commander based in Okinawa and deploying throughout Asia. After transitioning in 2020, he completed his post-baccalaureate requirements for medical school and will be attending the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2021. In his free time, he enjoys back country skiing, mountain biking, and photography.
