Service to School Announces Two New Collegiate Partners

Service to School (S2S) has added the University of Notre Dame and Princeton University to its S2S VetLink initiative. S2S, a non-profit organization, is devoted in its mission to provide free application assistance to active duty service members and veterans to ensure they get into the best schools possible after their time in the military.  Service to School established VetLink in June 2015 to identify qualified U.S. military veterans, introduce them to partner colleges and mentor them through the college search and admissions process.

“We are delighted to work with these top colleges and universities to inform those who have served our country of the fantastic educational opportunities available to them,” Service to School’s Executive Director, Beth Morgan, said. “We sincerely thank Princeton University and the University of Notre Dame for living their commitment to our active duty service members and veterans by playing an integral role in our effort.”

They join the University of Chicago, Cornell University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Smith College, Williams College and Yale University as Service to School academic partners in this special initiative.  In addition to the S2S VetLink initiative, Service to School continues to assist service members and veterans with finding the top college that is the best fit for their interests, work through the college applications and essays to best showcase their talents, and connect them with mentors as they transition to college wherever the veteran is interested in applying.

“Men and women who have served our nation add an invaluable perspective to thePrinceton community,” Princeton University’s Dean of Admission, Janet L. Rapelye, said. “We are delighted to partner with S2S VetLink to continue Princeton’s longstanding tradition of supporting veterans.”

“With our ROTC programs, Notre Dame has a longstanding and proud relationship with the U.S. military men and women who serve our nation,” University of Notre Dame’s Director of Admissions, Bob Mundy, said. “This partnership with S2S VetLink strengthens our commitment to veterans who are seeking a great college education and wish to join the Notre Dame community.”

Service to School is a veteran-founded, led and staffed non-profit organization that provides free, peer-to-per application counseling to all U.S. military service members – active and retired.  It is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. For more information, please visit www.service2school.org or contact Service to School by email at contact@service2school.org.
